This 5-bed terraced house in Crouch End has seen Astonworld completely refurbish and renovate all floors within. Further increases to the property’s footprint has seen the addition of a large rear extension, whilst extensive basement excavation has seen the creation of a brand-new bay oriel window at the lower ground floor level. The roof has been revolutionised with the fitting of a zinc-clad warm roof system. This upgrade has enabled the roof to achieve remarkable, energy-efficient u-values. A double height ceiling was created at the rear to facilitate a gallery effect between floor levels, whilst a specialist steel staircase and balustrade was fitted providing access between the levels.

This project has also seen a number of bespoke Crittal steel doors and the laying of polished concrete floors with brass trim inlays. These same brass trim inlays have also been introduced to part of the kitchen island – a bespoke kitchen designed by our own team of joiners. The bathroom walls received a polished plaster finish, with all bathrooms and showers fitted with high quality sanitaryware. The extensive rear gardens have been fully landscaped, with the addition of a 100m² purpose-built summer house, and the full perimeter of the garden has seen fencing created with cedar wood. The finishing touches to the garden saw the installation of around 60m² of limestone paving, enabling access from the higher level of the rear property, down to the lower level of the rear garden and throughout the garden itself – all of which was completed along with the collaboration of the client appointed landscape specialist.

After almost 15 months of being on-site, the property has seen a top-to-bottom re-fit and external additions. Yet another project to be left with the indelible mark that represents the high quality of workmanship that has always been Astonworld’s trademark .
